Welcome to the new BES Agricultural Ecology blog, which has been created to replace the occasional newsletter.
Agricultural ecology is a rapidly growing discipline, brought about by the growing awareness of the need for food production methods that harmonise with the natural environment. We aim to bring together a community of researchers, practitioners, educators and policy-makers from a range of related disciplines to develop best-practice approaches to farming, underpinned by excellent science.
This is one of many fora used to communicate the range of events, activities, workshops, news stories, and articles of interest pertinent to the group’s interests. Please see our ‘About’ page for other ways in which you may interact with the group.
We welcome articles and opinion pieces on related topics, and would like to use this space to advertise events or workshops. If you wish to contribute to this blog, please get in touch using our ‘Contact Us‘ page.
